Description of 48" Hitch Mounted Bumper Cargo Carrier

CC-4820 Hitch Cargo Carrier - Haul your luggage or other items on the hitch of your vehicle with the hitch mounted cargo carrier. The trailer hitch carrier has steel mesh and raised 2-3/4" plate sides. The strong 48" L x 20" W x 3" H hitch carrier conveniently installs behind your vehicle and can support up to 500 pounds cargo. Includes reflective safety stickers. Does not include hitch pin. For Class III and IV 2" Hitch Receivers. Limitations of Use: Never exceed the maximum tongue rating of your trailer hitch. Your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension to carry a load. Not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch without the use of a hitch riser adapter. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension to prevent sagging.
